Optimism

   I am much more calm today. My friend BoyCrazy eventually showed up and so did MommaJ. It was incredibly relieving to have them around. Both are friends from my home town and we have a bond that comes from years of fighting and forgiving. We spent the night watching movies, talking, and laughing. Doing what we do best. I know this was the right decision for me. I love being around people with such optimistic and encouraging attitudes.
   BoyCrazy drove me all around today to pick up applications from places that listed open positions. She was extremely supportive the whole time. "Just go in there and say, 'I want this job. Yes.' Be very like, 'Yes.' You are going to get a job! Everything works out. It just will." Some would say this was naive but not me. I'm incredibly grateful for this kind of attitude in my life. And I get to be around her all the time!! Yay!
   I have turned in two applications, filled out two more applications, sent in one resume, and set up one job interview for tonight and one more for tomorrow. So far so good. Send good thoughts my way!

Ps. I already miss my cat so much. So this is dedicated to her.
